Handmade in the Blue Mountains studio, every creation is shaped through conversation and imagination before finding its true expression on her path out in nature.

I. The Calling
Every adventure begins with a vision, an inspiration.
During your personal consultation, we explore your movement practice, upcoming adventures, aesthetic preferences and functional needs. Together we uncover what you want your garment to do, feel like, and express.
Will it accompany you through an ultramarathon? Onto the yoga mat? Along a forest trail at dawn?
This is where the story begins.
II. The Alchemy
Ideas become form.
Colours, prints, silhouettes, pockets, lengths, fabrics and functional details are carefully selected and refined. Drawing upon years of experience in garment design, sewing, trail running, and yoga, I guide the creation of a piece that is both beautiful and purposeful.

III. The Making
In the atelier, each garment is cut, sewn and assembled with care.
Unlike mass-produced activewear, your piece is created as an individual commission, allowing attention to every detail.
The process is slow by modern standards.
Intentionally so.
Because meaningful things take time.

The garment leaves the atelier and enters its true home: the wild.

Hi, I'm Leigh.
Designer, seamstress, yoga teacher, trail runner, ultramarathoner, oracle authoress and founder of Warrioress.
Every garment is informed by lived experience. I understand the realities of long days on the trail, the importance of practical design, and the desire to feel beautiful while moving through the world.
Warrioress was born from a belief that performance apparel can be both functional and soulful, sustainable not merely for sport, but for the woman wearing it.
This is not fast fashion.
This is movement couture.
